  If there is a way to give zero stars for this dressmaker, I would! I made an appointment to visit them after I got a quote via email for a bespoke wedding dress. A lady named Liz confirmed and added that I visit on 23rd September 2017 at 1pm (She chose the time and date). I emailed to reconfirm as I would be travelling all the way from London to make this appointment and I needed to make bookings with Virgin Trains immediately. With such short notice, you can imagine the transport costs associated. I cleared my schedule to make the appointment. I arrived at Peterborough way in advance (by 12pm) to find my way to the store so I do not run late. I arrived there at exactly 1pm but they appeared closed so I gave them a ring. Liz answered and said she would not be coming in that day. Her reason being that she had had an emergency with one of her girls. She did not bother to ring me to inform me and told me to wait until 2:30pm, which was around my return train time back to London. She did not seem perturbed to try to make it up to me for the grave inconvenience caused or have me reschedule for a later date with a possibility of covering my transport. She just seemed indifferent and adamant that there was nothing she could do. My day was just wasted, getting to Peterborough and not meeting the dressmaker and having to loiter for an additional 2hrs to hop unto my train back to London. I believe that this could have been just an unfortunate incident and I decided to wait over the weekend to see if they would send an apology email and ask to reschedule but nothing has come through. As a result I decided to leave this honest review to show their lack of professionalism and how they take their clients for granted. Avoid The Glass Slipper! They are really not worth your time or money. If you cannot trust them with your mere appointment, you should know not to trust them to make you any clothes!
